I love blogs. Ive been building and writing them since the initial conception of underlost in 2001. I’ve built a number of custom publishing platforms for clients, as well as for myself myself.
A regularly updated list of software and services I use.
Underlost originally started as a Gossip Girl-esque blog I maintained during high school. Over the years it morphed into a portfolio piece to show off (and look for) work, and eventually just sort of turned into this testing ground for experimenting with new technology stacks and designs.
With the pandemic taking center stage for most of 2020, no longer meeting in person has started a new spark of blogging. But with a twist. Blog posts are no longer found on a website, but instead inside your inbox.
It's been a whole year since my last look at the state of blogging, so I figured it was time ti check to see where things are at.
