The new chips use a technology known as ‘Time of Flight’ which can track small changes like finger movements or even facial expressions.
Time of Flight works by bouncing photons off a person or object, and has been used by military agencies for tasks like detecting a tank hiding behind tree cover, Bamji said. Texas Instruments Inc. and Infineon Technologies AG are also developing chips using Time of Flight.

Continuing from my last post about the Xbox One reveal, I wanted to talk a little more about what happened yesterday at the Microsoft E3 press conference.

I’m kind of livid myself, I just see him as the overly-entitled gamer saying ‘I deserve this because I want it!’ I was saying earlier on Twitter ‘Halo: Spartan Assault only on Windows 8 devices! That Russian guy should port it FOR GREAT JUSTICE!’ Like James though, he’s going to do what he’s going to do and it’s kind of impressive but trying to justify it morally really irks me.
