Dont Expect a New Alan Wake Anytime Soon

Sam Lake, Creative Director takes to Youtube to talk a little about the future of Remedy and Alan Wake. Sadly it sounds like Alan Wake didn’t sell enough copies to merit a true sequel, but it was received well enough for Microsoft to throw a pile of money their way for a new IP (Quantum Break).

I loved Alan Wake. It was probably one of my favorite games to come out of this generation of titles. And even though I’m disappointed it will be quite some time before I get to play a new game of the franchise again, I am looking forward to whatever they put out in the future. I just hope it wont be in development for another 8 years.
