Nintendo visionary Hiroshi Yamauchi dies aged 85

As a kid, I idolized this man. I read Nintendo Power almost religiously. As far as I was concerned, this man was Nintendo. As I got older and read more about him, my perception of him changed somewhat. While I still respect the man, like Steve Jobs, this man built these amazing products by being a ruthless businessman. But despite his business practices, or perhaps because of it, Nintendo created some of the most memorable gaming experiences in my childhood. He put the consumer experience over everything else, and thats what I will remember him for.
