Almost a year ago, I started part-time consulting and have now embarked on creating my own social network for fun. It feels like the right moment to introduce underlost.xyz, my new little web development studio!
Why underlost.xyz?
The handle Underlost has been with me online for over two decades now. I've used it in chat rooms, video games, social media, and pretty much everywhere else. This username saw me transform into a programmer and even inspired me to create the first incarnation of this very site, where I would WordPress tutorials many years ago. It only seemed fitting to return to my roots and honor all I’ve achieved over the last 20+ years.
Why Now?
After being the lead developer at a creative agency in Seattle for several years, it's time for something new. While the role let me evaluate the best frameworks and infrastructure for client needs, it didn’t leave much room for innovation. With underlost.xyz, I'll have the freedom to be selective about who I work with, choosing clients who resonate with my beliefs.
What can you expect from underlost.xyz?
I'll be collaborating with a few select clients, offering services such as building landing and marketing pages, providing e-commerce solutions, creating prototype web apps, as well as consulting on scaling tech stacks/infrastructure, and helping navigate the fast-paced world of AI.
