Forspokan
Recently made free for PS Plus members, I finally gave it a try. It’s a game I’d always been curious about since its release, and now that I’m playing it, I can see why it didn’t achieve massive success. It feels like something from a different era. The UI is outdated, with menu systems constantly popping up, and the world feels trapped in a PlayStation 3 aesthetic—harsh lighting and jagged, flat surfaces everywhere.
That said, I’m about four hours in and plan on finishing it. The story started off flat, but I’m intrigued enough to see where it leads and how it wraps up. The combat, though simple, is enjoyable.
This post is regularly updated throughout the year with new entries as I play new titles.
