Video Games!
I played a lot of games this year. Though it didn’t really feel like it, until I finally sat down to make a list. It also gave me a chance to finally catch up to a lot of games I missed from last year.
Livin' In a Lonely World
On a whim, I decided to boot up Journey on the PS4 again the other night.
My top games of 2019, and a few others that came close.

Atari Gamer, has been running the Atari Lynx 30th Birthday Programming Competition over the past few months and we now have the final submissions! All eleven of them! That’s right, that’s eleven new games for you to play and rate. We do admit that some are very well polished and others are more on the tech demo side, but all are worth having a look at.

All for free too. It may have took some time, but the game is finally delivering on every
Put together by Rami Ismail, Meditations.games is a collection of games by over 350 developers. Each day is a new, unique game, and only available that day.
Its a great concept. I’d love to see the analytics by the end of the year, and just how many people will still be playing this.
The original Doom turns 25 this year, and to celebrate, its co-creater, John Remero made a new chapter to the original game, titled Sigil.
Sigil, according to the website, is an unofficial 5th episode to the game:
I wanted the levels to feel like they belong to the original game as if they were a true fifth episode. There’s more detail in the levels than episodes 1-4, but not overly so. I believe that people playing Sigil will recognize my design style, but see new things I’m doing because t
Joker from Persona 5 is joining the latest Super Smash Brothers as DLC. Now add Chie you cowards.
